I will see this movie because I love Jim, even when he’s not with Pam. And I love Anna Kendrick too, even when she’s making bad choices, which seems to be always these days. But The Hollars won’t be good. It’ll be a recycled sap-fest with a few funny scenes and many female babyboomers & their daughters will like it, but it won’t be good. Krasinski is trying his hand at directing, good for him, but a family dromedy about life & death isn’t the easiest genre to make palatable.
