This film at least looks as advertised; a throwback to old Hollywood, if by ‘old Hollywood’ you mean ‘Woody Allen’. It’s got the New York Jew vibe that both annoys and entertains, with a plot like an old crime caper comedy. It looks just weird enough to be enjoyable but not too out there as to turn off audiences. Indie gold perhaps.
