OOOOOOOOH MYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOD. If there was ever a movie that was made for my soul this is it. Not only is Top Gun probably my 14th favorite movie of the thousands I’ve watched in my life, but Jennifer Connelly was one of the original names on my List and has been one of my favorite (and may I say the sexist) actresses of all time, and I’ve never hated on Tom Cruise the way most other American audience members have at some point; guy’s a frickin legend. TRON: Legacy and Oblivion were both good, not great, but they both had potential, and I think Kosinski might reach that elusive height this time around. And did you see the cast? I can literally not wait.
