It’s hard to tell if it’s just a strange, old-fashioned, out of touch trailer, or if this movie will actually be this bad. I like period pieces, I love Saoirse, I’m prepared to enjoy a film like this, but the preview has turned me completely away. I hope I’m completely wrong, but I think something went sour. A Chekhov play directed by the guy who brought us the TV show Smash? I think we might have found the problem.
