Wow, 25 years in the making, many weird setbacks, and here we finally are. But you know, I think it’s too late. Gilliam’s time in the sun has passed, he’s just not the same director that he used to be, and we’re not the same audience. I’m a big fan of his, but his style has aged, that’s over, and this movie, honestly, looks real bad. I love these actors, and some of Gilliam’s other movies, I just don’t think this all works anymore, and that’s sad for me to say.
