This movie looks fine; scary and pretty interesting. But it also looks like a combination of way too many other modern horror films: Goodnight Mommy, Hereditary, It Comes at Night, Hold the Dark. And then, somehow, it’s also a combination of The Shining and Martha Marcy May Marlene. I don’t know, I’m not sure this film looks special enough, I think it might simply be a play upon what they know we’ve already been impressed by, with nothing new to add.
