I’m a sucker for Australian movies, for whatever reason, but I think I might just resist this one. I like Winslet, and even Hemsworth, don’t get me wrong. But this has ‘chick flick’ written all over it, and that I can do without. Men are guilty of making movies just for men; I just happen to be a man. But when women make movies just for women, I try my best to stay away. Unbelievable romance, hunky younger men, a rustic setting; that’s not my fantasy, so no thanks.
