Are you kidding me with this cast?  These are some of the best actors in Hollywood, merging together in a glorious ball of light, looking all schlubby, talking about banks collapsing.  Wait, what?  I’m sorry, this cast looks incredible, but how are we supposed to get excited about a financial crisis, especially when all these leading men look like they stopped bathing?  I lived through this, we all did, the world didn’t end, I don’t understand how they’re going to make a compelling movie about something that wasn’t all that compelling.  This will fall well short of The Wolf of Wall Street, if I have any predicting powers.  How do I know?  Wolf was directed by Martin Scorsese (Goodfellas, Shutter Island, The Departed), Big Short is directed by Adam McKay (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers).
