Whoa. This is the Star Wars we want to see. Each of the newer trilogy got progressively better, finishing off the origin story with a bang. Now we have a brand new storyline, taking place 30 years after the Empire was defeated by the Rebels. We don’t get much from this trailer, but from what I can see we’re in for a smash hit. Star Wars fans rejoice!

Twitter has been abuzz with talk about the new light saber. I’m not sure loyalist fans are going to love the movie, I think they might be too caught up in ways the story is “wrong.” But people like us, who grew up saying “I’ve got a bad feeling about this…” are going to have a good time! We’ll see when the film comes out. I can’t imagine they went totally away from the “rules” of the story, I assume people are overreacting.
