You could say that this looks like just another thriller based on a novel, a titillating serial killer movie like so many others. But I have to trust that this cast can turn it into something much more special. I mean, Fassbender is amazing, Ferguson is captivating, Simmons is always solid; I’ve got to believe that they can take this book and make its film version stronger than we expect.
