Odd. Honestly, I don’t know much about Dylan Thomas or about the 40s/50s jazz/beat era. The little I do know comes from On the Road, the book or the movie, take your pick. It’s a weird time period that I never really related to. I doubt I’d be able to love a black & white movie about emotional poets.
Now see, I would watch this because a black and white film about poets would make me feel artsy and cultured. I might not understand the movie (or even enjoy it), but I would probably watch it under the right circumstances.
Ha! There are better “artsy” films, I’m sure.
