The first film in this series was bad, and this one will be worse. Cheap tricks, cheap gags, and the irresponsibility that goes with not having to actually explain anything you do; it’s a recipe for disaster. And we have the original to help us predict the outcome of the second, which helps, or harms, depending on how you look at it. This is a name-drop cast that is actually awful when you get past the dazzle, an illusion which fits the film. And this director is responsible for Step Up 3D, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, & Jem and the Holograms. Vomit.
