What exactly is Anna Kendrick doing? She’s much more talented than these odd comedies. She’s much more talented than Pitch Perfect and Twilight, for that matter, but at least I understand how those are money-churning franchises that she’d have been foolish to let go. But now, why? And I like Sam Rockwell too, think he’s great, but not here. This movie looks plain stupid, and from early indications, it is.
