There’s no way this is Oscar-caliber or anything close to it, but I kinda want this movie to succeed. It’s a cross between The Big Short and The Negotiator, directed by Jodie Foster. Did you know that her real name is Alicia? She’s never actually directed anything good before, so expect her to borrow almost everything from movie we’ve already seen, leading to more than this film’s fair share of cliches. But who knows, talent is talent, and maybe Clooney saves the day.
