Emmerich knows giant, explosive destruction, he knows how to capture our attention, but that by no means that his movies are any good. This might be his worst yet, based solely on the the cast, which is abysmal. Skrein, Wilson, Jonas, Luke Evans, Woody Harrelson, Mandy Moore, Dennis Quaid, Aaron Eckhart; god help me. Pearl Harbor tried a similar stunt and crashed & burned; I think Midway might suffer the same fate.
