I came of age with these movies; Kevin Smith will always have a place in my heart. Seriously, his films helped sculpt me and my taste, but I think we’ve all grown up a little bit since then, and maybe he’s lost a bit of his creative magic. This reboot is beyond ridiculous; it looks terrible. And although I’ll watch it, I doubt I’ll enjoy the reminder of days gone by.
