If Mel Gibson was trying to merge We Were Soldiers with Forrest Gump, he has succeeded. I’m not even sure what my reaction would be to a movie like that, in a vacuum, but with these actors I’m leaning to saying “no thanks”. Garfield is fine, but Worthington, Palmer, & Vince Vaughn as the rest of the cast? I don’t think so.
