Letterman has directed, let’s see, Shark Tale, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Gulliver’s Travels. Not to be mean, but that’s the type of animation I wouldn’t want my kids to watch because I would be afraid that it would make them dumber. It’s just not the juvenile fiction I want them to see; it’s just plain juvenile. And I don’t even think that this film will represent the books very well, books I loved when I was young but never really cared to revisit.
