The plot of this film already looks convoluted & overworked, and it’s just a two-minute trailer. What other passion, drama, mystique, betrayal, & life-shattering heartbreak await us when we watch the whole movie I can’t even begin to imagine. I love Michael Shannon, but this simply looks too muddled, and since Ross is a first-time director, I guess that makes sense.
