This is a movie to watch on faith, assuming that the pieces will come together to create something magical, or at least good. Frears was the director of High Fidelity, The Queen, and Philomena, all high quality films. And then of course there’s Meryl Streep & Hugh Grant, whose careers speak for themselves. And, let’s not forget, the addition of Rebecca Ferguson, who was incredible in M:I5 & who we should be seeing around quite often going forward.
