I haven’t even seen it and I already hope it wins Best Foreign Language Film. There are just so many stories to be told from this time period, true and fictional, that we’ll never run out of powerful movies based on these events. That makes it easy to win awards perhaps, the inherent drama of the situation, but that doesn’t count against well-made films that choose WWII as a topic.
