I don’t like the movies they mentioned that this would be like, so I have no faith that I’ll enjoy this film either. The trailer is a little funny, I didn’t hate it, but that’s not nearly enough to get me into the theatre to see it, or more likely, sit my kids down to watch it. And I have no idea where this story came from, I don’t know the source material, so the ‘phenomenon’ aspect completely misses its mark with me.
