I like Teresa Palmer enough (Warm Bodies, Cut Bank, Hacksaw Ridge), but she’s never exactly blown me away. Perhaps this film is her chance, as she looks primed to take the movie on her shoulders and to give us one hell of a performance. This plot is sinister, but in a fascinating way that should keep us spellbound until the very end. Can she deliver the best acting of her career? Let’s hope.
