Emotional, relevant, a surprising cast of b- and c-listers; I am tentatively optimistic about this film. At the very least, someone made a compelling trailer that caught my attention and actually made me feel, and I’m not even someone who cares deeply about vets/PSD/mental disorders/working class struggle, that whole shabang. But even though those aren’t my top issues, this movie seems to do a great job bringing them to life in an honest way, something I always appreciate.
