Talk about a tearjerker. A movie about a gay couple struggling to adopt a kid with Down’s Syndrome in the 1970s? Perhaps it’s a bit much, but I trust Alan Cumming (Cabaret, Titus) , and I’m willing to put myself through a bit of emotional torture.
