Did I write this screenplay in high school? Tim Blake Nelson, who was only good in one thing (O Brother), tries his hand at writing/directing again (Leaves of Grass) and comes across as an angsty teen who uses obvious metaphors and existential crises to make himself feel better about his own fear of death. And the connected yet disconnected large cast setup so rarely works that I can’t imagine that this movie & these actors will be the latest to get it right. Pass.
