That’s the thing about these zombie movies that’s so frightening, apart from the horror, violence, and monsters jumping out at you; the isolation.  The loneliness, the desperation, the sense of death just waiting for you to make a mistake.  That terrifies me more than the zombies, the idea that you’re just biding time until the inevitable conclusion.  Which is life I guess, which is why it’s scary, which is why I want to watch this movie and why I, at the same time, don’t.
