Interesting I guess, highly stylized, dramatic, like an old melodrama. I like Portman well enough, but Depp is just getting started, and you can’t help but think her father being Johnny Depp helped her get where she is. Maybe she’s talented, I guess we’ll see, but this movie as a whole looks a bit too much for me.
