Supposedly the play is good, but wow does this look bad. Julia Roberts is like a whirlpool that pulls everyone around her down to her level. And that level is ‘crappy’. Maybe the movie would have been awful without her anyway; most stories about family & divorce are. It’s like people don’t realize that life doesn’t look like this. They should, they live every day, and Dermot Mulroney never shows up.
