This looks insane, like it very well might be the true stories of a dozen evil men. The premise here is a fictional childhood of a man who will change the world for the worse, be it Hitler or whoever. The abuse, the darkness, the suspense; all the elements for a frightening story are here, with a larger moral as a backdrop. Seems fascinating to me, and I’ll hope that an amateur director knows what he’s doing well enough to get it right.
