After the success of Straight Outta Compton, we had to see these movies coming. And not to say that there isn’t more to see concerning this time period, these musicians, this struggle. But I have a bad feeling about this film, basically that it will fall very short of the level so recently established for a new genre. I just can’t see it living up to SOC, and perhaps it’s unfair to judge it by that movie, but we all will, so it had better be able to match.
