This is like something Ryan Reynolds would have done before he got famous, but the difference is that he would have had the untapped talent to pull it off, at least a little, and to leave audiences thinking that the movie might have sucked but that this guy could be an upcoming talent. These guys are neither of them Ryan Reynolds, and so won’t make this work any more than the trailer didn’t.
