I’ve gone and done it. I’ve played a nerdy board game and gotten hooked. And I’ve asked for it for my birthday. It’s over. It started with a trip to the Scott house. We had good times, good food, and the kids played well. Jessica & Jacob taught us how to play Carcassonne and I’ve decided I have to have it. And stickers for my Meeples.

Uh oh, stickers for Meeples? Customization is the next step in the obsession. I know I have harped on Catan quite a bit, another fun one is Ticket to Ride. Cool train based strategy game. I have only played it in app form, but I am looking forward to getting it [or buying it for someone close to me 😉 ] for Christmas.
Loved the two-player Carcasonne. I look forward to playing it again soon.
