I must be on a sci-fi kick right now. Star Trek Saturday, Oblivion today, and a review of Event Horizon tomorrow. But I can’t help it, sci-fi is unique in its ability to blend reality with fiction in a believable and entertaining way. Dramas are too real sometimes, fantasy can be too silly, but sci-fi takes a story that could come true and weaves it with action, drama, and effects to create a great movie. You still have to pair up a good director with a great actor, and some would say that Tom Cruise is not that, but I would disagree. Very excited to see this movie.
I’m very excited for this one. Not that I actually go see movies anymore, but you know, there’s a chance.
Well, you can be excited to watch it on DVD approximately one year after its release.
