I know I’ve talked about not being a comic book fan & so not a comic book movie fan, but I think this one might have gotten my attention. It’s not that I won’t watch a comic book movie, it’s just that most of them look so crappy. This one doesn’t. I saw the first couple X-Men movies back in the day and they were fine, whatever, but I like this storyline (Trask, Sentinels, time travel) and I think it could translate well into a nice film supported by good actors. Is that so much to ask from all the others?
I remember loving this storyline in the Saturday morning cartoon version of X-Men. I’m crossing my fingers hoping they get this one right. The first two X-Men movies were pretty good and Singer is back.
Well I’ll go see it with you to make up for dissing your favorite genre.
