This looks so much better than Dawn of Justice I might cry. But I won’t. Instead, I’ll temper my expectations because there is still a lot that could go wrong here, and also because I thought DoJ was going to be really cool after seeing its trailer too. Gal Gadot might not be able to carry a movie, though she does have Chris Pine by her side, and he’s already proved himself. The action might be insanely over-the-top, although I think it looks pretty cool in the trailer, a good mix of magical, physical, and WWI. I’m optimistic, especially with a fresh director on board to hopefully make sure the train stays on the tracks.
