Alicia Vikander is perfect, there I’ve said it. She’s at least perfect for this style of role (among others) and we’ve seen her succeed before (A Royal Affair). And then she can just go and do sci-fi or drama or Tomb Raider; really, there’s absolutely no stopping her. And then, as far as this film goes, she’s just the beginning. Waltz is amazing, DeHaan is great, the rest of the cast looks solid: Judi Dench, Jack O’Connell, Cara Delevingne, Zach Galifianakis. Be prepared for Tulip Fever to still be talked about come Oscar time.
