Director: George Clooney

Starring: Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, Oscar Isaac

Release: October 27th, 2017

This movie definitely has a Coen Bros. feel, but I’m afraid it might turn into a Coen Bros. knockoff.  Glooney isn’t a first time director, but his last film, Monuments Men, was a complete disaster.  It had every great American actor, it should have been a smash hit, but it failed miserably.  Now, with Suburbicon, he has a chance to make amends, and with Joel & Ethan Coen writing the script, that should definitely be possible.  I’m just nervous that he’s copying their style, or that they’re simply writing another one of their films offhand without much thought.  I just can’t imagine that this film will be as good as we hope it will, but I still feel compelled to see it, and I really do wish it well.
