This movie looks terrible. If I wanted cheesy action and stupid Egyptian cliches I’d go back and watch Brendan Fraser’s version; that at least was fun, with the inherent knowledge that it was all silly on purpose. This seems like they think they’re making a good movie, and that’s what’s actually scary. And why is Crowe’s character’s name Dr. Jekyll? That concerns me. I’m out.
