This looks like a Terrence Malick wannabe that I will definitely stay away from. Art for art’s sake, emotion for emotion’s sake; I don’t think we need a female perspective on an over-dramatic art form that’s already been done too many times will too little success. Some critics love Malick’s ultra-sensationalist style and may end up loving this film as well. I don’t & I won’t.
